- About Us:
The hospital was formerly St. Anne Medical Center, ran by a private corporation as a tertiary level, 200-beds capacity for more than 10 years. Thereafter, it closed its operation for almost 3 years and eventually donated to the government through the Department of Health in October 1990.
As a government hospital, it was operated initially as a 25 beds capacity manned by 38 personnel, 5 physicians, 7 nurses and 26 other support services under the National Administration and later devolved to the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental in January of 1993.
Now known as Cadiz District Hospital of the Province, the Economic Enterprise Development Department heads the operation of the hospital, with a personnel complement of 80 permanent, 22 contractual and 11 which are of the agency. It is operating a 50 beds capacity, Second Level category district hospital of the Department of Health and a PhilHealth Accredited, a national health insurance agency of the government.
The hospital has been the host of numerous medical, surgical and dental missions from national and foreign organizations since the year 2000 up to the present with the CASAMA Interlocal Health Zone (ILHZ) a non-government organization as its partner agency.

True to its commitment, Cadiz District Hospital was able to provide a safe and healthy environment for its clientele and will continue to do so for the good of our patients. Through the initiatives done on health education and promotion and quality health care services conducted in the hospital, it was adjudged regional winner for Healthy Hospital in 2006, 2007 and a Hall of Fame award in 2008. For being a performer in Newborn Screening implementation, the hospital was given awards both national and regional as Outstanding Health Facility in Newborn Screening from 2005 to 2007. The Philippine Hospital Association handed Cadiz District Hospital the Presidential Award for outstanding performances as a health care provider and as a center of excellence in 2006 and 2007.
