They are given a chance to visit our resorts and hotels, and in such a way, they talk about the places they represent that these places. This is to have a continuous recall for Negrenses about tourist destinations where they can visit and promote tourism, as well. This began in 2005 and we have themes related to tourism every year.

Networking:

Networking among tourism related organizations is a vital tool in the implementation of projects and programs of the Provincial and the Department of Tourism, therefore, the office has been actively coordinating with various organizations by participating and conducting meetings, as well.

The ATONO, also known as the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines has been formed though the assistance of this office, which is a SEC registered and is also an accredited organization in the Provincial Government

The NTI, also known as the Negros Island Tourism Incorporated was formed for the very reason that Governor Joseph Marañon called on all tourism organizations to unite as one and have one voice in the development of tourism in Negros.
